As part of the Technical Product organization, we are seeking an experienced Technical Product Manager within the Commercial Digital Technology team. This role requires you to be a strategic thinker who can not only change the way the company envisions product management, but also to get your hands dirty alongside your team. You will be an evangelist in building stakeholders’ understanding of how technical product management can support across our IT portfolio, of DTC ecommerce, Retail, Wholesale both today and tomorrow. You will help define and drive the platform strategy and roadmaps for key products, derive technical requirements, and prioritize feature development based on value to the customer and to Levi’s. This role will involve working with an expansive set of stakeholders across multiple regions and teams, to drive initiatives to continue to scale globally our business, increase efficiency internally, and improve both our customer and employee experiences. You will work in close collaboration with IT partners across the organization.
As Associate Technical Product Manager - eCommerce, Commercial Digital Technology, you will
Key Responsibilities:
- Own and build IT product roadmap and backlogs for the Commercial platforms in your purview to serve business and consumers efficiently focusing heavily on region(AMA).
- Partner with Business, Digital Product and Engineering in translating business goals and the product vision into a well-sequenced, dynamic, customer-centric IT roadmap:
- Balance foundational needs and specific use cases.
- Identify opportunities, analyze business benefit, evaluate ROI and prioritize and negotiate initiatives to develop an IT roadmap that delivers on the vision and strategy.
- Ensure the roadmap includes technical-debt remediation.
- Ensure the roadmap accounts for and integrates dependencies across functions.
- Build high-trust, mutually collaborative relationships with stakeholders to drive results:
- Partner with all stakeholders to understand business needs, outcomes, and value, and ensure the roadmap is aligned to those needs, as well as other product roadmaps.
- Partner within Technology to deliver the roadmap on time and with quality.
o Collaborate with delivery/product development and UX teams to deliver on time high-quality solutions.
- Represent the team in reviews with partners and senior company leaders to align resources and prioritization to ensure focus on business value and speed to market.
- Establish a consistent prioritization process that clearly communicates the IT roadmap, objectives, priorities, and decisions across a wide group of stakeholders.
- Establish a data-driven value framework to validate product decisions:
- Ground your product vision in data: Draw insights from key metrics and data sets to iterate over product quickly and forecast and validate impact. Ensure a virtuous cycle of testing and development.
- Act as the product evangelist to demonstrate business
- Drive the execution steps of product management in accordance with the value framework.
- Track value delivered, product adoption, performance, and execution against the end-to-end roadmap and adjust roadmaps as necessary.
- Drive adherence to all standard TPM ways of working (e.g., process, artifacts, templates, collaboration models) :
- Translate product strategy into detailed requirements, instrumentation, aggregation, and prototypes, in partnership with engineering, data engineering and privacy teams.
- Scope and prioritize activities based on forecasted impact, including data ingestion and related APIs/services.
- Act as an agent of change within and outside your team, challenging the status quo and embracing new methodologies towards better outcomes.
- Support the transition to Technical Product Management within the overall IT organization by actively participating in the Communities of Practice for TPM.
- Coordinate and prioritize effectively across multiple projects simultaneously.
· Coach/Train the team members on the product/platform, ensure knowledge is distributed among the teams.
Key Requirements:
- Experienced technical product manager, with the ability to ensure comprehensive and detailed product requirements and capability to translate that deep experience to a strategic platform vision.
- Excellent understanding of retail eCommerce technology landscape and operational flows.
· Understanding of web technology fundamentals, including mobile and app.
· Minimum 3 years’ experience in Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC). Exposure to Hybris, Magento or equivalent digital commerce platforms will be a plus.
· Salesforce Certified platform developer or experience in Salesforce automation for Campaign Management, created workflows and related tasks. Working knowledge of fundamental web technologies such as XML, HTML, JS & CSS.
· Good understanding of Salesforce Architecture including APIs and Microservices.
· Strong project management and organization skills and able to work under minimal supervision.
· Familiar with Agile and Scrum methodologies and tools.
· Working knowledge of JIRA and Atlassian platform.
- Ability to flex with agility between Business and Technical conversations, teams, priorities and requirements, and drive balance, alignment, strategy, and value across both streams
- Demonstrated ability to understand and discuss technical concepts, manage trade-offs, and evaluate opportunistic new ideas with internal and external partners.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to use data and metrics to back up assumptions, recommendations, and drive actions.
- Experience leading cross-functional teams to deliver products and projects.
- Ability to act as the evangelist for the eCommerce platform.
