· Job Description Summary
Manages, perhaps through subordinate supervisors, the coordination of the IT activities of a section, department or functional area, with responsibility for results, including costs, methods and staffing. Receives IT assignments in the form of objectives and determines how to use IT resources to meet schedules and goals. Provides guidance to subordinates within the latitude of established company IT policies. Recommends changes to IT policies and establishes procedures that affect immediate organization(s). Works on IT issues of diverse scope where analysis of situation or data requires evaluation of a variety of factors, including an understanding of current business trends. Follows IT processes and operational policies in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions. Acts as advisor to subordinate(s) to meet schedules and/or resolve technical IT problems. Develops and administers schedules, performance requirements; mostly has budget responsibilities. Frequently interacts with subordinate supervisors, customers, and/or functional peer group managers, normally involving matters between functional areas or customers. Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree with > 5 years of related experience in IT; or a Master’s degree with < 3 years of related experience in IT.
Key Areas of Responsibility As a Business Analyst
· Collaborate with Business, IT Business Partners, Architects and Tech Leads to elaborate on the requirements. .
· Build effective and productive key business stakeholder relationships (including BPO).
· Early involvement in solution design and estimations.
· Understands how the IT solution supports the Business Process E2E.
· Analyze main business processes and requirements and translate into IT solutions.
· Ensures that solution across platforms is in line with the design and development guidelines
· Responsible to maximize the use and acceptance of standard/catalogue based solutions to support business needs driving industry best practices processes.
· Responsible to maintain product backlog with user stories to cover development effort for the upcoming sprints.
· Develop user stories/ wireframes (both functional and system operational requirements) and work with client on elaboration and ambiguity resolution.
· Ongoing validation of deliverables against requirements.
· Flexibly respond to shifting business needs and priorities.
· Train key users and ensure availability of training and support materials.
· Prior to UAT validates that solution meets business requirements.
Experience & Knowledge:
Core technology expertise:
· 8 – 12 years of Total IT experience.
· At least 8-10 years of relevant IT Experience.
· 3 Years of full Project life-cycle Implementation experience which includes architecture, design and implementation of planning solutions using SAP BPC
· Analyzes and reports on business performance by means of: Monthly performance, AOP, product/market/customer/integral profitability, Quarterly Forecasting, RoFo, Strategic Review, cost control,
· Target Setting / Remuneration, Pricing/margin analysis, etc. Performs forward-looking ad-hoc analysis, such as project & strategy evaluation, benchmarking, Price/Volume mix, scenario analysis, etc.
· Prepares, attends, minutes and keeps track of follow ups regarding performance and strategy meetings.
· Takes initiative to bring relevant financial issues to the attention of his/her relevant stakeholders.
· Participates in various x-BG/Sector/Market Finance improvement projects.
· Understands systems and tools. Ensures quality, accuracy and integrity of information stored in our systems, enabling a single source of truth.
Additional Technology Skills (preferable) :
· Experience integrating on premise applications with Cloud SaaS/PaaS applications
· Knowledge / experience in integration with Cloud applications
· Integrated Planning, SAP BW and SAP ABAP
