Business Analyst Global Trade Compliance
Job Summary:
The person hired for the position of GTS Business Analyst will be responsible for fit/gap analysis, design and implementation of global trade compliance software throughout the Philips enterprise, i.e. SAP GTS.
This position requires knowledge and expertise with deploying the SAP Global Trade Services modules. The person hired for the position of GTS Business Analyst will be responsible for requirements gathering, configuration and design of the GTS system, and support multiple Program deployments from blueprint through hyper-care.
Guided by domain knowledge and expertise, the GTS Business Analyst will work with cross-functional and multidisciplinary teams from different Philips business groups, markets and countries to successfully deploy the SAP Global Trade Services modules according to the predefined Roadmap.
Primary Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Support Philips Business Transformation deployments in terms of Fit/Gap analysis, Requirements gathering, Functional Design, PEPF Philips Excellence Process Framework standardization, training and go live support
- Design, create, and document SAP GTS applications and functionality in support of Supply Chain Mgt and Logistics execution functions in Philips businesses and subsidiaries. This includes full lifecycle deliverables from Blueprinting to Deployment
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Management Information Systems, Computer Science or closely related discipline from an accredited university
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience with Global Trade business process and solution design leveraging the capabilities of SAP GTS like Compliance, Customs, Export Control and Risk Management processes
- Able to Implement SAP GTS solution improvements to increase stability, usability and functionality to enable end users to meet business objectives
- Able to support project initiatives to expand the usage of the SAP GTS solution to improve global trade compliance environment
- Coordinate and work with other Global Functional Leaders to understand integration points within SAP and other systems and grasp the impact of all proposed process and system changes
- Identify areas of continuous improvement to reduce overall support requirements
Preferred Qualifications:
- Ability to work across global Businesses and Market organizations to accomplish Roadmap goals
- Knowledge of using Seeburger integration with customs agencies such as – Benelux, Germany, USA, etc.
- Must have good writing skills and be extremely well organized
- Technical aptitude and desire to absorb and apply technical information as required
- Must be a self-starter with the ability to complete day to day tasks with minimum amount of direction
- Should possess strong understanding of functional application development and system design
- Good judgment, decision-making, and communication skills to objectively understand an issue and negotiate a resolution
- Experience with Lean and Agile methodologies
