Job Title: SAP LE/TM Consultant
Reporting into: Supply Chain Team Leader, US/ Mumbai
Base Location: Remote (India)
Work hours: 5 days per week/ need based second shift (02:00pm to 10:30 pm IST)
Background:
We require a SAP Logistics Execution Business Analyst to work within an IT organisation to implement SAP projects for a multinational FMCG company. This organisation uses SAP extensively from base ERP to BI, APO, MDM and CRM. The role involves working on projects such as but not limited to set up of new logistics networks, replacing existing with new partners or newer system locations, enhancing functionalities in logistics/ transportation management & major upgrades or consolidations.
Scope of responsibility: Supporting the Supply Chain Team Lead during the implementation of cross functional SAP project, on time and with minimal business disruption by:
? Applying conceptual knowledge and technology to solve complex business requirements
? Write functional specifications for program/output/user exit developments
? Ensure appropriate subsidiary/division involvement in solution in line with overall global design
? Assist existing team to design, configure, and test
? Assist Business Users to test and document issues
? Take ownership of issues assigned from testing and bring to resolution
? Work remotely with members of Business and IT project Team
? Provide post go-live support to key users
? Transfer your knowledge where incremental to the existing team
Qualifications & Education:
A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Business, Finance or Engineering and appropriate
SAP qualifications required. Business & Technical Experience & Skills
? You will have minimum 5 years in depth experience in: o TM 9 transportation management or Event management (EM) o ECC or S/4 Logistics Execution
? Hands on experience in implementing Transportation Management in O2C, Stock transfer, Intercompany scenarios in TM.
? Experience in other SAP Supply Chain modules an advantage, such as:- Preferred o SAP Warehouse management in central / Decentral scenarios
o Predominantly handling unit managed & batch managed scenarios
o Materials Management, notably Inventory Management
? Cross functional experience in following areas an advantage;
o Integration with SAP PI , Integration with SAP APO.
o Application knowledge of EDI messages in the area of logistics
? Ability to read and debug ABAP code for custom user exits or BADIs/enhancements.
? You will have completed at least 3 full life cycle implementations within ECC or S/4 or TM
The successful candidate will be highly motivated, have excellent verbal and written communication skills and should come from a strong analytical background.
