SAP ABAP & Technical Development Lead
Responsibilities:
o Lead the technical planning and execution of the upgrade from
SAP R/3 to SAP ECC EHP 7 including the Unicode Conversion and Archiving solutions.
o Develop technical specifications and manage the development of
custom ABAP programs and interfaces as needed for the upgrade.
o Design and develop technical solutions to meet business requirements
using SAP ABAP programming language.
o Lead the technical analysis of the existing system
and design of the new system architecture.
o Manage the upgrade project timeline, resource allocation, and deliverables.
o Develop and execute technical migration plans including
system downtime, backup, and recovery procedures.
o Ensure system and application data consistency before,
during and after the migration process.
o Develop, execute, and monitor post-migration testing plans to
ensure that all functions of the system are working as expected.
o Manage the migration of existing data to the new system and
perform any necessary data conversions.
o Provide guidance and support to end-users, developers,
and functional teams on technical issues related to the upgrade.
o Work closely with other technical teams to ensure seamless
integration of the new system with other systems.
o Monitor system performance and take corrective actions
as needed to ensure high system availability and performance.
o Implement and configure any new features or
functionalities of the SAP ECC EHP 7 platform.
o Document technical procedures and processes related to the
upgrade, including backup and recovery procedures,
system configuration, and user access control.
Requirements:
o Bachelor's degree in Computer Science,
Information Technology, or related field.
o Minimum of 7 years of experience in SAP ABAP & Technical Development
with specific experience in upgrades and migrations.
o Strong knowledge of SAP R/3 and SAP ECC.
o Strong programming skills in SAP ABAP.
o Experience in developing custom interfaces,
forms, reports, and workflows in SAP ECC.
o Strong understanding of SAP data dictionary,
table structure, and query optimization.
o Experience with Unicode Conversion and Archiving solutions.
o Experience in managing technical teams and projects.
