We need Sr Tech Developer to monitor QA Audit of Custom Developed Objects for obe of our customers.
Role Purpose
Enable and govern the adherence of best practices and standards for the development of SAP S/4 and HANA solutions to achieve the highest level of quality for the business. Responsibilities include define, design and provide repeatable solutions and patterns that ensures consistency in our development solutions.
Accountabilities
Perform Quality Assurance reviews of code and technical design documents to ensure developers are adhering to best practices and standards
Create S/4 and HANA related development standards and improvements to our QA and governance processes.
Creates updated solutions, frequently asked question (FAQ) and training documents
Look across the end to end solutions to identify and provide recommendations to help address performance and development related issues
Certify developers as QA reviewers for technical design and code
Work with developers to debug and fix code for identified issues and provides recommendations on how to optimally provide solution
Governance and controls to ensure adherence to technology standards, best practices, release management, change management, and other related processes and procedures, SLA and controls compliance
Ability to prioritize own work under general supervision
Assist in providing mentoring and training to development team members; helping to integrate them into the department (effective onboarding process) – especially in the areas of S/4, HANA and CDS development
Key Skills/Experience required
8+ years of hands-on SAP development, implementation, and support with focus on at least 2 or more of the following SAP functional modules: FIN, GTM, SCM, SD, HCM,and/or APO
2+ years of hands on HANA development and implementation (with S/4 preferred with E2E implementation)
Proficient in SAP ABAP, user exits, BAPIs, RFCs, BADIs, object oriented programming (OOO), LSMW, ALV reporting, BDCs, SQL and IDOCs.
Proficient with HANA Studio – modeling, inport/export HANA artificats, Information views, CDS, DB procedures
Proficient with ADT (ABAP Development Tools) using HANA – exposing HANA artifacts to ABAP layer, Code Push Down, ABAP managed HANA DB procedures
Proficient with HANA performance analysis using Viz Plan and traces
Experience with SAP upgrades
Proficient in written & spoken English
Strong analytical skills
Proficiency in basic Microsoft applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, Outlook)
Knowledge and experience in following tools, disciplines and processes are nice to have: SAP Solution Manager (7.2 preferred), SAP ChaRM, ITIL tools & processes, HP Service Manager, Mercury tools, CPG industry experience, project implementation
