Senior ETL / Talend developer
Position Description
• Should handle application maintenance : incidents / service request
• Should develop end to end solutions for small enhancements / medium and complex changes
• knowledge of coding languages including Java, XML, and SQL.
• Develop data processing scripts using SQL and be able to optimize complex sequences of SQL queries
• Work with Solution Architects to understand customers' business requirements and implement them
• Experience working directly with customers and presenting your ideas
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
1. Strong Java development knowledge.
2. Strong Experience using Talend Open Studio (7.x) and experience with Talend Admin Console (TAC). Extensively used Talend jobs for performing Data Migration, Extraction, Transformation and Loading using Talend.
3. Knowledge in Autosys scheduling
4. Good experience in database technologies especially in Oracle.
5. Good knowledge in Unix system
6.Excellent analytical and communication skills
Advantage:
1. Knowledge on Cloud infrastructure and knowledge on Talend cloud is an added advantage
2. Knowledge on AWS S3 storage and Datalake.
3. Good to have knowledge on MongoDB and post gre DB.
