SAP Indirect Tax & Finance (Vertex, SAP Finance)
Business Analyst – Specialization in Vertex (Preferred)
§ Domain exposure to Global Indirect Tax processes. Should have Strong Vertex Experience of 8 to 10 Years with SAP FICO background.
§ Should have worked in Vertex O series Version 6 and Above
§ Worked as a SME in E2E software global development & implementation projects
§ Translates business requirements into user stories and validate Functional Requirement Specifications in accordance with approved IT Architecture
§ Should be Familiar and or have worked with following Tax concepts:
o EU’s - Triangulation, Intra Communities, Plants Abroad, Environmental Tax (Battery Tax, Recycling fee, WEEE, Packaging), Reverse charge.
o APAC – Golden Tax (China Tax), GST (India) & VAT (Australia)
o NA - Sales & Used Tax, PST, HST
o Argentina – VAT, Perceptions, Excise Tax, Turn over Taxes Good understanding of integration with other SAP modules
o Vertex – RFC connectivity & updates
o LCR Dixon & Vertex Accelerator – Working Knowledge
§ Collaborate with Business, IT Business Partners, Architects and Tech Leads to elaborate on the requirements.
§ Understands how the IT solution supports the Business Process E2E. Has process and IT landscape expertise on Sector level, BG, Markets or Functions.
§ Responsible to promote out of the box functionality to the BPE and Business community
§ Responsible for Software Quality, Compliance & Regulatory aspects of the solution.
§ Responsible for designing use cases and acceptance criteria.
§ Drive business process harmonization using industry best practices.
Should be able to look beyond the current scope of work and be able to propose newer IT business propositions to stake holders and also recommend innovations to platform providers
§ Good communication and presentation skills
§ Worked in business/client facing role
§ Highly driven, energetic, flexible, resourceful & ability to multitask
§ Clarity of thought and vision
§ Hands on and detail oriented, with a strong ability to co-ordinate across different Geographies and with different stakeholders
§ Ability to manage multiple functions at same point of time
Cross domain: clearly articulates problem statements to evolve solutions across domains.
§ Overall 12-14 years.
§ Domain experience as Tax Specialist or Finance Consultant (or similar).
§ Primary Skill sets should be Vertex & SAP FI and CO as Secondary skill, experience of at least 7-9 years through consulting for Vertex & FICO
§ At-least two full end to end implementation experience and rest with application support
Exposure to managing reliability, availability, performance and capacity aspects of applications through application support
