Key Roles & Responsibilities: ·
Develop or enhance software applications based on detailed requirements and
system specifications using ABAP · Design, develop, test, document
and execute unit tests for functions with high complexity ·
Evaluate, interpret, and understand functional specifications for custom
development in SAP modules with preparation of comprehensive and thorough technical program documentation ·
Provide guidance on the design, architecture, and delivery of SAP integration solutions ·
Act as the technical expert and provide timely resolution to application issues ·
Integration of software solutions within company environments and external landscapes ·
Support SAP functional and Basis teams during testing, patch application and upgrade initiatives ·
Work with Business and Functional Analysts to collaborate on requirements and specifications ·
Collaborate with other SAP developers, designers, and architects to ensure
Technical Requirements of ABAP applications meet or exceed the
functional application requirements and performance goals ·
Provide Technical support to jobs and interface-related requests escalated
by the functional support teams or route tickets to the next level of support as needed ·
Provide support including root cause analysis, proposing and implementing
structural solutions, testing, and tracking the resolution for escalated problems ·
Perform technical unit testing of the developed solution and peer code reviews of
team member solutions and fix any defects and performance problems discovered ·
As part of the Change Management process, complete and maintain risk, impact and
implementation work orders; for emergency application changes,
build new releases in the development environment,
transfer new releases from development to test environments,
and perform production configuration and technical code validation as necessary ·

1) Education BS or MS degree in Computer Science, or a related technical field
or the equivalent experience is required
2) Years of Experience 4+ Years of experience in SAP ABAP
3 Specialized Knowledge ·
Strong ABAP competency (ABAP Objects, BADI s, BAPI s, enhancement points,
user exits, ALE,IDOC). · Strong experience with all sort of ABAP Developments(RICEF’s)
· Should have at least 1 end to end implementation.
· Experience in SMART Forms and SAPScript especially for Label printing
· Strong knowledge in OO-ABAP. · Experience in SAP Workflows is added advantage.
· Strong Knowledge on function process flow over MM,PP,SD,WM,FICO and QM.
· Experience in WebServices, oData and REST API
· Experience in Upgrade projects, SPAU/SPDD adjustments
