SAP TM
ROLE DESCRIPTION:
? Application-specific expert consulting and support activities in S/4 Embedded TM:
creation of blueprint/FDS and conduct requirement-gathering and fit-gap analysis
workshops, design and build of new functionality, creation of test cases, testing and
execution, defect resolution, key user training, post-go-live and maintenance support
? Performance of feasibility studies/solution reviews/functionality design
? Able to architect TM solutions based on customer requirements
EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS:
? Play the role of an SME in the SAP S/4 TM space as an individual contributor and team
player as the situation warrants
? Define detailed blueprint and FDS for development requirements
? Develop and assure the quality of processes and demonstrate expert knowledge of
standards and tools
? Familiar and experienced in all lifecycle phases of a standard project (Blueprint to Go
live support)
? Acts as a coach or mentor to other consulting colleagues within the team
WORK EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS/COMPETENCIES
Functional
? Experienced in S4 TM with demonstrated productive project configuration experience of
no less than six years
? A minimum of 2 full cycle implementations, with the ability to bring to a productive state
the TM module
? Expertise in the integration of TM with EWM and other streams
? Experience with interfaces is a must
? Strong communicator at multiple levels of the organization with confident and clear
verbal and written communication
? Openness to travel globally as the situations arise
? Has contributed to several business cases/scenarios and has managed challenging client
situations
? Understands the project implementation methodology and has experience in a parallel
project implementation and support model
Technical
? Expert knowledge of the SAP TM architecture
? Learn how to work with the Business Object Processing Framework (BOPF) in SAP TM
? Enhance standard TM Business Objects in BOPF
? Create custom TM Business Objects in BOPF
? Access TM business objects from ABAP OO and debug TM coding
? Understand user interface capabilities in SAP TM
? Understand how Floor Plan Manager (FPM) is used in SAP TM
? Understand how FPM-BOPF Integration (FBI) is used in SAP TM
? Enhance standard TM user interfaces with FPM/FBI
? Create custom TM user interfaces with FPM/FBI
? Create and enhance Personal Object Work Lists (POWL) in SAP TM
? Use Business Add-Ins (BAdIs) in SAP TM to extend business logic
? Use implicit enhancements in SAP TM to extend business logic
? Use the Process Controller in SAP TM to adjust process step sequence and additional,
customer-specific steps to support SAP TM business strategies
? Create BRFplus-based conditions to influence business behaviour in SAP TM
? Discuss integration topics in SAP TM
? Learn how to monitor and troubleshoot the integration of SAP TM and other
systems
? Learn how to enhance SAP TM Web Services with custom fields
? Configure Post Processing Framework (PPF) in SAP TM
? Knowledge of LBN
? Knowledge of Print forms
