Head - Institutional Sales (B2B) with minimum 4 years’ experience
Location: Bangalore
Reporting to: CEO/Director
The primary responsibility of the Institutional Sales Manager is to:
· Identify opportunities and develop relationships with Institutional investors and investment consultants
· Identify and cultivate prospects and/or clients.
· Initiate and follow up on new business opportunities.
· Lead new business meetings and close sales to institutional investors and consultants.
· Assist in the development and launching of new products.
· Act as a liaison to the investment management groups to ensure active, enthusiastic support of the sales and marketing process.
· Ensure that product and sales materials are always updated and focused for the applicable presentation, conference, or opportunity.
· Work closely with team members to further develop sales opportunities
Core skills:
· Understands Sales process with Hotels, Export Firms, Large Restaurants, Retail Chains or Seafood institutions
· Understands enterprise and hotel sales process very well
· Must have demonstrated ability to create sales/relationship opportunities with clients, prospects and consultants in assigned market segments.
· Must have excellent sales skills and in-depth product and broad venture knowledge.
· Work experience from the following segments would be preferred – any Hotel Industry in Procurement or Materials Management or as a kitchen manager, retails including Metro Cash and Carry as a SalesPerson, Fish or Meat export companies
Skills / Other Personal Attributes Required:
Strong communication skills as well as fluency in English and local languages preferred
Strong presentation skills and high initiative
Education:
Graduate or an MBA or a CFA
