The PMO Lead will help drive the successful delivery of client ’ IT Service Delivery offerings to the internal departmental clients and ’ clients’ projects with a key focus on defining and maintaining standards for project management within the IT Service Delivery organization, introducing standard project management practices in the execution of implementation and operational project activities, and driving continuous process improvements.
The ideal candidate will have a track record of successful project management, be team oriented, and be comfortable working in a highly collaborative start-up environment.
Strong communication, creative problem solving, and excellent negotiation skills are all key attributes for this role. A strong capacity and the capability to build effective working relationships with the right internal and external stakeholders is a must. The PMO Lead will develop strong relationships with the project management leadership within multiple verticals, internal management, and peer organizations.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Act as the IT Service Delivery Liaison and single point of contact for all the clients departments and Business Units for all IT projects.
Provides support by serving as an expert in all aspects of the Client's IT Services; provides SME support regarding the IT Services and implementation processes. Facilitates the creation of initial requirements definition.
Facilitates the dissemination of key information to all members of the IT Service Delivery team, including publication of new/upcoming projects in the pipeline, implementations in progress, patch management schedules, maintenance down-time schedules, creation, and maintenance of the central knowledge base for the IT Service Delivery team.
Defines the project management process, configures, and enables the Zoho Project Management application for managing all IT projects.
Coordinates with all the IT Service Delivery Team Leadership to define, implement, and manage the intake process for project requests submitted by the Project Managers; includes global prioritization, scheduling, and entry/maintenance of commitment dates in the Zoho Project Management tool.
Partners with the internal IT Leadership to define, develop and maintain training curriculum and assets for training sessions. Create new employee onboarding training; partner with external 3rd party vendors for training courses to enhance IT departmental skills as required.
Serves as a liaison with third-party vendors, managing the overall relationship and coordinating with the account manager from each department/organization on client-specific initiatives.
Conduct research for IT solutions and vendors, when called upon to do so.
Develop a plan and implement a process for IT community engagement on a regular basis.
Maintains project assets (e.g., presentations, project work plans, agenda templates, training materials, and statements of work) to ensure they are aligned with the latest implementation processes and best practices.
Implement project management best practices for project quality assurance.
Coordinates with the Finance team to manage and direct month-end activities with the Project Managers, for the reporting and invoicing of billable hours and expenses.
Coordinates with the IT leadership to prepare and communicate executive level updates on status and key issues for internal key stakeholders.
Facilitates training of new IT staff during the onboarding process.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND BACKGROUND REQUIRED
Minimum 6 years of project management and/or consulting experience concurrently managing multiple large projects in a technical and cross-functional environment, leading clients and team members through large complex system implementations and integrations with aggressive delivery deadlines.
Exceptional communication, leadership, team building, and people management skills
Outstanding time management and organization skills
Proven history of managing teams to meet aggressive deadlines, utilizing sound project management methodology (processes, best practices, tools, and templates)
Ability to utilize effective communication, negotiation and/or influencing skills, employing diplomacy and sensitivity to resolve critical or escalated issues affecting the client, project team, or senior management
Proven experience managing scope and internal/external expectations through effective negotiation, influencing, and partnering.
Experience with Microsoft Office products (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Visio) and JIRA.
Familiarity with Zoho Projects, the cloud-based project management software is a plus.
BA or BS degree required; Project Management Professional (PMP®) certification preferred.
Flexibility to work during US working hours as and when required for coordination and meetings to accomplish project delivery schedules.
