SolMan - Technical Manager
Key areas of responsibility:
As an Technical manager :
· Is responsible for formulate & execute the project plan, in consultation with management and cross-functional teams.
· Identifies the Risks of the project, manages the risk management strategy and plan, and develops scenarios to overcome these risks by defining corrective actions and driving the projects to closure
· Gather and integrates project performance and progress, Reports on the progress of the project with an agreed frequency on quality, status, time to senior management and to the project members
· Drives/ Manages Steerco calls with the stakeholders
· Manage Stakeholders from different services and handle escalations
· Drive & co-ordinate the new process changes within SolMan Change management tool and align with stakeholders with leveraging the tool
· Good understanding of the Change Management process PEPF 20.3.4.
· Supports the Tech lead in process design & requirements closure for new releases
· Ability to prepare training content for SAP Solution Manager Capabilities
- Ability to prepare/ Organize training plan , facilitate & conduct trainings with users across geographies . MP1 we did 400 odd Users.
· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with an ability to work across diverse global teams
Organize and conduct workshops for new projects & program with all stakeholders.
Experience & Knowledge :
- Overall 15-20 years of work experience in managing Technical projects & programs
- Very important to have Prior experience in Solution manager implementation projects in the areas of ChaRM, Solution Documentation & Test Suite
- Important Strong knowledge on validation processes as SOP is validated system and all projects on it are tightly coupled with Validation/ Compliance/ Q&R so dependency management here is critical which can be missed if the knowledge is missing.
- Strong knowledge on IT Change Management & Service Management processes
- Knowledge on Service Now Tool & interface with SAP Solution Manager Application
- Good documentation and reporting abilities.
Stakeholder management and experience in handling complex project, not large but complexity is the Key.
Education & Experience:
- Bachelors / Masters in Science or Technology
- Open Group (preferable)
- Lean Foundation (preferable)
- Consultancy skills (added advantage)
- Scaled Agile Frame work & project methodology concept
