As an SAP Basis consultant, you will be responsible for providing leadership to the SAP Basis technology team using your own experience and initiative to support the team.

You will define and develop technical standards, participating in quality management tasks, such as peer and quality reviews of runbooks and standard operating procedures. This will also include change control documentation and release planning.
Oversee and deliver the day-to-day operations of SAP Basis functions, supporting and supervising activities related to the design, development, and implementation of projects.
Act as the technical expert, ensuring quick turnaround in identifying any technical issues and providing timely solutions.
Collaborate with IS and Business Leads to help define detailed customer requirements and system interfaces, and develop solutions to satisfy the business requirements.
Other responsibilities include working on various ongoing projects in the client environment to understand resource needs and plan for Basis resource utilization.
Work with the various teams interfacing with Basis (SAP Security, Database, Operating System, Network, and Hardware) to evaluate impact of how making changes in one area could impact the overall SAP landscape.
Develop, document, and maintain standard operating procedures, system error detection procedures, database reorganization and SAP background job scheduling.
Liaise with outside service providers as needed to identify performance or reliability issues. Determine and implement proper remedial actions.

Strong experience in ECC, S/4HANA, HANA DB, MS SQL DB, BW, Solution Manager, BOBJ, Data Services, and Fiori

SAP Netweaver 7.x both ABAP and JAVA, and S/4HANA installations, upgrades and migrations.

Strong experience of using SAP Solution Manager 7.x.

Provide consulting services on new and existing initiatives that may have an impact on the SAP landscape or product portfolio.

Must communicate effectively both verbally and in writing in order to provide clear, concise communication to Management, Basis team members, and others

Bachelor's or higher level degree in Computer Science, MIS, Engineering or related discipline with project management and technical experience.

Experience must include a minimum of ten (10) years of Information Technologies experience, a minimum of eight (8) years SAP Basis Hands-on Technical experience.
