Job Title: Cloud Architect
Location: Bangalore
RESPONSIBILITIES
? Participate in system design planning, review and drive the implementation with the team to create kubernetes based platforms as a service in all major cloud environments (Azure, AWS, GCP) and as well on prem.
? Participate in Architectural working groups to discuss on key technical approaches to deliver the business goals.
? Participate within modern agile software development, like: o Scrum o JIRA
? Design and Delivery of programmable infrastructure (Infrastructure as Code) using a modern tool stack including, but not limited to: o Hands on experience in Scripting and programming languages like:
? Bash
? Python
? Java, JavaScript
? Go o Infrastructure tools like:
? Terraform
? Pulumi
? Ansible (Chef, Puppet)
o Cloud provider cli like
? Azure cli
? AWS cli
o Source code control systems like:
? Git
? Bitbucket
? Github
o Modern pipelines like
? Github actions

Good to have knowledge on bringing up k8s cluster using,
? Kubespray
? Microk8s
? KOps
? Deep dive into and become an expert as needed in classic infrastructure domains i.e., server, storage, network, security, database,
? IAM Security by Design and automation/orchestration such as network, security, server, IAM, OS and applications.
? Provide operational support for Cloud Support organization for services and products
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (Technologie skills)
? BE or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Management, or a related field.
? Overall 12+ years of experience in IT industry.
? Minimum 8+ years’ work experience in cloud transformation projects with Hands on experience.
? Extensive hands-on experience with Linux systems and bash
? Previous hands-on experience with design, implementation, operation, and maintenance of Cloud infrastructure by code, using some of the tools mentioned above.
? Knowledge of networking fundamentals and network requirements for cloud to on premise connectivity.
? Expert level knowledge on Kubernetes, kubectl, helm and expected to be hands on.
? Demonstrated experience migrating on-premises applications to cloud-based offerings and supporting their operation
? Senior experience in infrastructure type of languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell, Bash), but also general programming languages such as Java or Go. As well required is working experience using data serialization languages (JSON, YAML)
? Knowledge of relational databases; particularly Oracle and PostgreSQL
? Knowledge of test-driven development, with unit and functional testing as second nature
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE (soft skills)
? Have exceptional oral and written communication skills and work well in a distributed team environment where the goal is to spread knowledge.
? Demonstrated ability to generate and maintain technical documentation is required.
? Experience working within Agile software development methodology using JIRA.
? Ability to accurately estimate efforts, commit to timelines and complete complex technical tasks on time
? Maintain the servant leadership quality and mentor the team to deliver the best.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
? Certifications desired in cloud computing (CKAD, AWS Certified, Azure Certified)
? 8+ years' hands on Experience with cloud providers (i.e., Azure, GCP, AWS etc.).
? Experience in operating on premise and cloud infrastructure and applications. Preferred OpenStack
? Understanding of test automation and its application in cloud environments
? Knowledge of GxP and GAMP; generally regulated industries and environments
? Experience in observability stacks like:
o ELK or OpenSearch for logging
o Prometheus, grafana for monitoring
