Database Developer specializing in MS SQL Server, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and
maintaining the company's databases, ensuring data integrity, performance, and availability. You will work
closely with other development teams, database administrators, and stakeholders to ensure that databases
support the company's applications and business objectives.
Responsibilities/ Duties
? Database Design and Development: Design, develop, and maintain SQL databases and related objects,
including tables, views, stored procedures, and functions.
? Query Optimization: Analyze and optimize SQL queries to enhance performance, scalability, and
efficiency of database operations.
? Performance Tuning: Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, query optimization issues, and
database tuning problems to ensure optimal database performance.
? Efficient Schema Design: Design and implement efficient database schemas, indexes, and stored
procedures to support the application's data needs.
? Performance Monitoring: Monitor database performance regularly, proactively identifying potential
issues and implementing corrective actions.
? Collaboration: Work closely with software developers and system administrators to ensure optimal
database configurations and server settings.
? Best Practices: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement database best
practices and performance standards.
? Capacity Planning: Perform database capacity planning and ensure the scalability of the database
