Position Description
Role: OpenText Install / Config
Job Role/ Your future duties and responsibilities
• Good understanding of Enterprise Content Management, preferably OpenText Content Suite
• Work closely with the seniors and implement technical solutions meeting business requirements
• Liaise with senior technical staff to explore and suggest strategic technical solutions
• Take responsibility for configuration to meet the business and technical requirements.
• Monitor work against the project plan and produce progress updates, resolve issues or technical difficulties on a regular basis
• Be responsible for work quality and process, ensuring it meets the technical standards.
• First line help for Implementation team on technical issues
• Works on incidents and fixes, as they occur
• Prepares and help new team members onto the team with help from team lead
• Carry out configuration fixes
• Update KEDB
Job Description
• Participate in the analysis, design, test and technical implementation for OpenText Content Suite
• Create new and maintain installation and configuration guides, plans and documentation
• Ensure accuracy and integrity of the OpenText Content Suite installation and configuration
• Responsible for the development and maintenance of artifacts related to integration implementation
• Provide on- going support and maintenance for OpenText Content Suite
• Provide resolution of support and maintenance tickets per established SLAs.
• Adhere to Enterprise Content Management and Record Retention practices for documentation and change management procedures.
• Top 3 skills which is mandatory OpenText Content Suite, On Prem and Cloud environment implementation experience and Document crawling processes, indexing and techniques
Required skills.
• BE/BTech/ME/MTech/M.C. A or equivalent degree with 7 – 9+years of experience in Installation and Configuration
• Exposure Enterprise Content Management and Records Management
• Strong experience to design / develop reports using OpenText Content Suite
• Hands on experience to configure products as per business and technical specifications
• Good knowledge in Database table relationships and queries using SQL (Database - MS SQL Server)
• Good understanding to apply design principles and solution as per design
• Good communication and collaborative skills - ability to effectively communicate with team members and stakeholders
Preferred skills
• Experienced in Agile / Scrum methodology and planning tool like JIRA
