Position Description:
The IT department of Michelin is organized by entities to support each core business process. The IT entity supporting RDI includes a team that builds and maintain all applications related to tire design. This team has members located in France, USA, Japan and India.
We’re looking for TOSCA expert to join the team in Pune and be responsible of test automation for this new application. The Test automation engineer we’re looking for will be part of the world wide team that builds the application. The test automation team will be an autonomous squad handling requirement, design and implementation from end to end
Job Description
He/She is the expert on test automation tools (TOSCA), with 7+ years, of relevant experience. He/She scripts the tests and can also execute them. He can create automatization using other frameworks to improve the current process. He can adapt the automated testing solution to make it scalable and user friendly for the business and FA to use. Self-driven and autonomous she/he is the point of contact for automated testing in team.
Relevant Experience: 7+.
WORK ACTIVITIES/CONTEXT:
Design and Execute Tests
- design, implement and maintain automated tests that validate applications by running test functions automatically. This includes defining priority for test scenarios and creating execution plans to perform these scenarios.
Identify, Report and investigate Bugs
- analyze bug reports and highlight problems to help identify fixes for them. They deliver regular reports identifying these bugs to other members of the engineering team.
Identify Quality Issues
- analyze applications, code and unit test to identify potential quality issues that could affect application under their scope.
Collaborate
- collaborate with other members of the team and other teams such as development team, Business teams to solve issues, define test implementation plans ..etc.
Technical Skills:
• Must have:
o Tricentis - TOSCA.
o CICD ( GitCI or Jenkins).
o Ticentis – Qtest.
o JIRA/Zephyr
• Nice to have:
o UFT.
o Tricentis/OSV.
o HP/ALM
