Junior DevOps Engineer
Please note that the key is ‘Microservices development using springboot/Java on AWS’ – please don't get distracted by the term DevOps.
A Junior DevOps engineer is still experienced in implementation. He has less of a platform view than the Senior and Medior DevOps Engineer would have, but he is fully capable of delivering user stories end to end without requiring daily assistance. A Junior DevOps engineer is less involved in determining the overall platform direction, but still knows the overall implementation very well and is able to resolve the majority of technical topics as well as incidents which may occur independently.
• 1 years of experience in AWS, including microservice architectures, serverless architectures and containerization
• 2 years of experience in IT, having played roles from Developer, to Technical Lead
• Familiar with setting up Continuous Delivery pipelines
• Experienced implementer
• Familiar with monitoring/testing best practices
• Familiar with (Scaled) Agile way of working
• Familiar with DevOps way of working and principles
• Good communication skills, both verbal as well as writing
• Good technical writer
• Able to keep overview, while focusing on details
• Great sense of ownership on for the implementation work and the health of the platform
• Familiar with Platform Vision
• Understanding Solution Architecture
• Adhering to Best Practices, Foundation and Reference Architectures
• In-sprint testing automation and monitoring setup
• Familiar with full platform implementation and able to implement user stories with limited assistance
• Part of 24/7 pager duty rotation
